Max's mom had married Juniper's dad a few years ago, and while Max got along with his mom, he wasn't exactly thrilled about gaining a new sibling - especially one as eccentric as Juniper.

Together, they spent hours in the backyard, building and creating and experimenting. Max's mom would occasionally poke her head out the window, looking frazzled, but Juniper just winked at her and said, "Don't worry, Mom, we're making art!"

"Behold, MyPOVFam!" she declared, striking a dramatic pose. "A device that manipulates perception and reality! Watch this!" Max raised an eyebrow
