Over the next few weeks, Lisa Ann and Alex found themselves running into each other more and more. They'd chat about books, music, and life. Lisa Ann felt a connection with Alex that she'd never experienced before.

As they chatted, Lisa Ann learned that Alex was a writer, working on his first novel. He was kind, witty, and shared her love of literature. Before she knew it, they'd been talking for over an hour.

As the days went by, Lisa Ann found herself noticing her new neighbor, Alex, more and more. She'd see him mowing his lawn, or carrying groceries into his house. They'd exchange pleasantries, but nothing more.

Alex smiled back, taking her hand in his.
